VA Breakfast at Office* 2013: 8th and 9th October 2013.

Date: 12-Oct-2013 12:00

Once again Office* 2013 returned to Olympia, London, UK.  Carsten Holm, MD, Event Manager, David Maguire and the Diversified team did a fantastic job and from the feedback received, a great time was had by many.

There were a number of new elements to the show this year, one of which was a new focus on the Virtual Assistant Industry.

The VA Breakfast

BeMyVA were the proud sponsors of the inaugural Virtual Assistant Breakfast on October 9th which featured Award winning, lawyer Suzanne Dibble of Lawyers4Mumpreneurs.  Suzanne, who is also one of BeMyVA’s Panel of Experts, regularly works with sole traders, partnerships, and SMEs.

During her presentation, Suzanne shared a number of case studies that highlighted the importance of having terms and conditions in place irrespective of the size of your business and who you are dealing with.

“Your standard terms and conditions (i.e. the legal basis on which you are willing to do business with your customers) are one of the most important business documents you should have and they should be the first legal document that you put in place when you are starting a business.”

In addition to the valuable tips that Suzanne shared, she kindly provided details of a special promotion, “VA Breakfast Offer” to help UK Virtual Assistants avoid costly business mistakes.

The session concluded with Suzanne picking the winner of the Virtual Assistant Free Prize Draw.  We are pleased announce that Jennie Bayliss of Office Wings Ltd was the proud recipient of a bottle of champagne.

We would like to thank Suzanne Dibble and all of those that took time to join us for breakfast and making the event a huge success.  It was great to meet so many of you in person and to hear from well established, successful VAs as well as from those about to start on their journey.

Anyone that attended the event and did not receive the full details of Suzanne’s “VA Breakfast Offer”, please contact us for more details.
