Alice Stapleton, Life Coach joins the BeMyVA Expert Panel

Alice Stapleton, Professional Life Coach joins the Expert Panel of BeMyVA to answer questions from our Full Members.

Alice’s Masters in Coaching Practice and years of working within the principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (the theory that our thoughts & feelings drive our behaviour) have given Alice an extensive understanding of how to work effectively with individuals who want to change their thinking patterns and the way they behave in certain situations.

She has recently completed research on the Quarter-Life Crisis and has a developed knowledge of this experience and what particular coaching approaches are most effective when working with those in their 20s and 30s. Find out more here.

Alice’s practice is regulated via the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC). You can access the EMCC Ethical Code to which she adheres to here. She continues to develop her coaching skills by attending CPD accredited events ran by the EMCC and other professional bodies.

Alice is also an Associate Coach at Rowland & Associates, a well-known and highly regarded coaching organisation.


Prior to becoming a professional coach, Alice studied psychology at degree level, moving on to qualify and work as a Probation Officer supporting vulnerable individuals seeking to change.

She also has a comprehensive Marketing, Communications and Business Development background within the legal sector and other professional services.

This background provides her with a certain level of empathy for the professionals that she coaches in that she can appreciate the challenges they may be facing at work in both corporate and public sector settings.

Her change in career also provides her with an understanding of how hard but exciting it can be for a young professional to change direction in life.
